If you’re not feeling crafty — or you don’t want to drop a small fortune on some posies — here’s a unique option that will sweep your date off his or her feet (as long as they don’t have two left feet, that is). A Valentine Ball will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Valencia Ballroom in York.
The event will feature dinner at 7 p.m. and dancing from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. The evening will feature the sounds of the Gettysburg Big Band Orchestra.
Black tie is optional, but an event release says that red is the suggested color.
Tickets for the dinner and dance are $47 each. Tickets for dancing only are $16 each.
