I fell in love with this project as soon as I saw it on Pinterest.

It’s a cheesecloth ghost, and crafters have been making them for years.

Do a search for cheesecloth ghosts on Pinterest or anywhere online, and you will find many sites to inspire you for ideas.

Supplies

  1. Liquid starch
  2. Spray bottle
  3. Cheesecloth
  4. Scissors
  5. Balloons (for the ghost head)
  6. Wire for arms (a wire hanger, twisted, or even unfolded paper clips will work
  7. A base for the body. (I used both an empty wine bottle and a small jewelry body display)
  8. Masking tape
    Old newspaper

Besides the liquid starch and cheesecloth, the rest of the items I had around the house. So, the total cost for this project was only about $10. You will have plenty of liquid starch left over to make many more ghosts.

Prep time: about ½ hour to make; but it takes about 24 hours for the project to fully dry.
