It’s a cheesecloth ghost, and crafters have been making them for years.
Do a search for cheesecloth ghosts on Pinterest or anywhere online, and you will find many sites to inspire you for ideas.
Supplies
- Liquid starch
- Spray bottle
- Cheesecloth
- Scissors
- Balloons (for the ghost head)
- Wire for arms (a wire hanger, twisted, or even unfolded paper clips will work
- A base for the body. (I used both an empty wine bottle and a small jewelry body display)
- Masking tape
Old newspaper
Besides the liquid starch and cheesecloth, the rest of the items I had around the house. So, the total cost for this project was only about $10. You will have plenty of liquid starch left over to make many more ghosts.
Prep time: about ½ hour to make; but it takes about 24 hours for the project to fully dry.
